Our class text will be 'The boy who biked the world: Part Two' by Alastair Humphreys. All of the information and learning challenge homework dates, as well as the themed day dates can be found on the Knowledge Organiser but if you want to add them to your diary:

Try this at home: Create a 3D model of a famous monument, situated in South America. Research 5 facts about it. This pre-learning task is due in on Monday 28th April. Merits will be awarded for creativity!

Themed Day: Friday 23rd May – Year Four will taking part in a South America arts and crafts themed day. The children may come dressed as a country from South America e.g. Brazil.

Also: please remember to send in any recycled materials for next weeks Art lesson. Any flat materials that can be used to create woven art work such as flattened food wrappers, fabric pieces or other interesting materials that would otherwise be recycled/thrown away.
