Elephants- Forest school3 April 2025 (by Miss Rowland (elephants)) |
Thank you Miss T for yet again another wonderful forest school session.
What a wonderful time we had at forest school this morning! We enjoyed some time on the animal park and were very excited to see some little chicks that were 11 days old!
After we went into the woodland to find some wild plants. We spotted daffodils, nettles and bluebells. We also found chard which we ate and watercress which we took back to the log circle.
In the middle of the circle, Sam had created a rocket stove. We warmed up Mrs T's homemade soup and then had watercress sandwiches to dip into it.
Behaviour was excellent and the children shared so much knowledge of the world around them and about their science learning about plants.
