Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful sunny Easter break!

I have now added lots of information to our Monkeys Resources page on the school website about our new Big Quesion for after the holiday!

Our new quesion is "Do Aliens really love underpants?"

The new term's main focus will be on Expressive Arts and Design.

We will be delving into an imaginary world of aliens and mythical creatures, such as dragons.

We will be helping the children to develop their Language and Communication skills through the use of role play and small world imaginative play.

We will also have an important focus on Literacy skills with our main learning focused around the lovely stories written by Claire Freeman about some mischievous aliens, who love to steal underpants from Earth!

We will include lots of Understanding the World within our learning about Space and our exploration on whether aliens do truely exist! We will also be learning about different forces that we can feel and create.

I have included a pre-learning task on the website and would love for as many children as possible to take part. You could send me a photo of your work or bring it in to school to share with everyone.
