In class we have been reading the text 'Where the wild things are' by Maurice Sendak. We are going to be doing some creative writing in our English lessons based on this text so we made our own wild things in the forest this afternoon to help us!
First we splatted mud on the tree bark and then we added horns, eyes, tusks, teeth and even claws! The vocabulary we used to describe them was brilliant, another great forest school session Year 1!
